Greg Scorzo as Analytic Director and Lizzie Soden – Creative Director are currently developing a programme called AOT Becca.
It is a conflict resolution chatbot designed to facilitate dialogue between two users with opposing views, addressing conflicts ranging from marital disputes to political, civic, and geopolitical issues.
Drawing on the team’s 72 real-world Art of Thinking events, that fostered empathetic and clear debates, the AI engages conflicting parties in real-time conversations, guiding them toward resolution without dictating outcomes.
The AI dynamically adjusts its approach based on real-time user data, improving its effectiveness in future interactions.
It collects and stores anonymised interaction data in a secure databank, contributing to the science of conflict resolution by providing real-time insights for researchers and practitioners.
The program’s goal is to ethically persuade users toward greater convergence of agreement, fostering increased empathy and respect, thereby reducing hostility and building mutual understanding.
This is an Early STAGE START-UP building new connections. We are in the R&D phase, focusing on the philosophical and social dimensions of AI’s integration into human life. Through a series of innovative partnership pilot projects, we aim to merge AI with creative and philosophical thinking to cultivate empathy, reduce division, and contribute to a more cohesive society.
At The Art of Thinking with AI, we believe that peace is not simply the absence of conflict—it is the presence of understanding. In a world fractured by ideological division, cultural misunderstanding, and emotional reactivity, we are excited to begin to build partnerships and collaborate with researchers, AI developers and platforms to work together towards a new kind of AI: one that doesn’t just talk, but thinks with us.
Our mission is to create AI mediators / Agents that foster peace, empathy, and clarity by guiding users through the emotional, philosophical, and psychological terrain of human disagreement.
In particular we will actively be seeking partnerships with curious and open-minded AI developers who share a commitment to meaningful human connection and open dialogue. We are passionate about shaping a future where artificial intelligence not only supports the pursuit of knowledge, but also plays a central role in combatting polarisation and promoting peace. Our goal is to foster mutual understanding—grounded not necessarily in agreement, but in ethical frameworks that promote the highest possible convergence of values in areas of AI development. Like everyone else who is inspired by future possibilities, we are curious and amazed by the fast-growing and fast moving AI / human convergence. To be part of ensuring it primarily aids human flourishing is a privilege.
